Nri Kingdom

An ancient Igbo kingdom led by priest kings rather than warriors, whose power rested on ritual and moral authority. The Eze Nri crowned and cleansed, and his influence spread far without armies. Nri is remembered as one of the oldest sources of Igbo civilization.
